What is NLP?
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a powerful method of increasing communication skills, focusing on unleashing the full strength of the unconscious mind.

Modeled on the work of master psychotherapists and hypnotherapists in the 70's and onward, NLP quickly became known for achieving fantastic results, not just in a therapeutic setting but anywhere that peak performance is needed. Business, negotiation, teaching, parenting, and athletics: these are all areas where the knowledge of NLP has been applied. More than achieving fantastic real-world results, NLP allows for a deep emotional understanding and enjoyment of life on an interpersonal and spiritual level.

Specifically, NLP allows its practitioners to become fully aware of human psychology; how minds create meaning, how language plays a key role in our behavior, and how best to affect change in the people around us. NLP also includes methods of hypnotherapy; how to condition the unconscious mind to create lasting behavioral results.

What are NeuroStrategies?
Many courses and trainers in the business give you the tools of NLP without showing you how to use them. This is akin to being given a whole set of construction tools and some basic materials and being told to build a skyscraper. It doesn't matter how powerful the tools are if you don't know how to apply them in real world settings.

This is why SRI's founder Steve Linder created what he calls NeuroStrategies; they are specific methods for taking the powerful tools of NLP (reframing, hypnotic language patterns, anchoring, to name just a few) and really applying them in real life situations; in therapy, coaching, business, teaching, and any relationships where greater communication and effectiveness is needed.

NeuroStrategies teach the 'How', not just the 'What' and the 'Why'. Students are taught using a variety of experiential and interactive learning techniques. The emphasis is on making real and lasting change, and being able to trust the unconscious experience and knowledge that you gain in our courses. What courses do you offer?
We have three fantastic courses that will let you learn and master NLP and NeuroStrategies.
First there is our Core NLP and NeuroStrategies course. This course is 3 days, and you will learn the core tools of NLP and see how the human mind processes information and gives meaning to events. Applied NLP and NeuroStrategist Certification moves your learning to the next level. We like to say that ‘Core’ shows you the blueprints of the house of the human mind; the structure, how things fit together, but ‘Applied’ gives you the tools to make changes to that structure. You will learn more in-depth about Spiral Dynamics, Hypnotherapy, and the power of NeuroStrategies. Successful graduates will be certified in NLP and Hypnotherapy and be prepared to enter into our Master Strategist 7-day class! Our Master Strategist course is the STRETCH of a lifetime. You will master the concepts of NLP and NeuroStrategies. Not only will you learn them in the classroom, you will be taken on a series of inventive real-world “stretches” where you’ll be able to apply your learnings in exciting and new settings. You will internalize these concepts and really be able to ‘come from the heart and not the head’ in using these skills.

What's the difference between 'Core' and 'Applied'?
Core is our first course, and Applied is our second course. Both courses are three days long. Core teaches the more basic and key skills of Neuro Linguistic Programming, and SRI's unique take on those skills, while Applied teaches more in-depth applications, as well as gives certification for successful completion.

The skills of Core and Applied were once taught in a single 7-event event, but due to popular demand we split that course into two parts. This enables people to more easily fit the smaller classes into their schedule. It also allows people to get a feel for the true power of NLP before continuing on to get certified, thus ensuring that only the strongest candidates for certification continue on. It also helps us ensure that our high standards for certification are maintained.

What is the VIP package/Do I qualify?
VIP packages are available for every one of our courses and are limited.  The VIP packages are designed to provide opportunities for one-on-one interaction and attention.  The only pre-requisite is the willingness to hold yourself to the highest expectations and do whatever is necessary to achieve your desired results in life.

When and where are the classes held?
Our courses are typically held only once or twice a year in each of the following countries; the United States, Australia, England, and sometimes Ireland. Check our class schedule for the upcoming dates and locations. Because we strive for personalization and full support for our students, we limit the number of participants and do not hold many courses, so if you want to be assured of a spot, sign up early!

What are the logistics of the course? What can I expect?
The ‘Core’ and ‘Applied’ courses are both 3 days long, and the Master Strategist class is 7 days long. Specific day schedules vary, though you can expect a very rigorous schedule and fairly late (but, above all, fun!) nights. Come prepared with water, vitamin supplements, and great positive energy!

We take pride in the fact that no two of our courses are ever the same; this is why we have so many people who have attended a course but who come back to the same course only months later. It is because we strive to interact with our students, and to answer questions, and to make sure that everyone in the class is up to speed. Also, our trainers are great at weaving in their recent experiences and learnings from their own life, and we are constantly updating and adding new content.

In our efforts to really make sure our students ‘get’ and integrate the concepts, we limit our class size to usually around 50 students.

What timeframe do you recommend to take all the courses?
“Core” and “Applied” would best be completed within about one year of one another.  “Master Strategist” should ideally be completed within 18 months of “Applied” but can be extended if need be.  It also depends on how much you USE an IMPLEMENT the skills and strategies you learn.  If you practice the skills frequently you may be able to resume the course flow within an individual time frame because you have been continually using the tools.

If it has been more than one year since you have taken a “Core” and you are moving on to Applied, SRI requires you to attend the “Review Day” in advance of a “Applied” course.  You can register for any of our Review days here .  If you are feeling that you are not ready for the more advanced courses, we encourage you to re-attend one of our events.  SRI gives a 75% discount for "Core", 50% for "Applied" and 25% to "Master Strategist" to any event alumni!

DMAS can be completed at anytime, whether it is before you attend an NLP course or in-between.  Many of our students do a mix of DMAS/NLP and move on as they feel comfortable.  The choice is up to you!

Are there special discounts for alumni and re-attends?

Yes. Core Re-attending students receive 75% off, Applied Re-attending student receive 50% off and MasterStrat Re-attending student receive 25%. We have many students who do this, and we are proud of the fact that so many of our alumni get so much out of our classes going through them a second or even a third time. We are constantly adding new distinctions, new strategies, and the most up-to-date way to implement these tools and no two of our classes are ever the same.

Questions about course registration:
I’m having a challenge processing my online order – any suggestions?
From the All Events page you can register for any open event currently being offered. Once you have navigated to the payment screen, there are fields to input quantity, personal information, credit card information, and a field to review the terms and conditions. To finish processing your order, you will need to click on the ‘checkout’ link which is positioned at the bottom of the window. This both certifies you have read the terms/conditions and will advance you to the next step. If you are having challenges viewing the ‘checkout’ link or any other fields you can try two solutions. First, make sure your internet browser is updated to its latest version and ensure the flash plug-in is installed. Second, you can download Mozilla Firefox and use it to process your registration.

I've registered for the class and I haven't received an email confirmation yet. What do I do?
Our emails can occasionally get routed into your "spam" or "junk" folder. Please check your folders and be sure to add "bounce@infusionsoft.com" to your list of permitted senders in your email client. If you are still having a problem, send us an email.

How much do your courses cost? How can I get the best deal?
The prices for our courses vary, and you can check the current prices by going to the All Events page . We often have special deals on courses offered in our webinars or at our events, or for our reattending students. If you are new to SRI, though, you can find the best current prices on this website.

The prices are based in U.S. dollars, but the shopping cart automatically adjusts the prices to your country's exchange rate (based on your IP address). If you are not in the U.S. and you see the price fluctuating from day to day, this is due to currency fluctuations.

Is there any pre-study material for the NeuroStrategist courses?
SRI offers an outstanding 5 audio CD set of pre-study material introducing you into NeuroStrategies, The Ultimate In Personal Transformation Technology, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. SRI recommends that you start to listen to pre-study CD’s one week before the “Core” course. You can find more information and purchase the CD set on our Products page . This is not a required pre-study.

What if I’m already NLP certified?
Visit our NLP Transition Program page to learn more about our Review Day for those who have been certified in the last two years by another institution. Our Review Day, coupled with our Applied course immediately following, will reacquaint new SRI students with the best practices of NLP and introduce them to NeuroStrategies (the methods and strategies for applying the powerful tools of Neuro Linguistic Programming). Once going through the Transition Program, our students will be ready to take the Master Strategist course, and become a master trainer at NLP, Hypnotherapy, and Time Line Therapy.

How can I assist at future SRI events?
Fill out our Assist form to apply to help out at upcoming events. Choose the event you've got your eye on from the drop-down menu, and give us all the relevant details about what would make you a great assist. We take a lot of variables into account for our events, and there are often a lot of applicants, so don't be discouraged if you don't get to be an Assist immediately.
